Upon her graduation in 2014, Devina needed an outlet for her anxiety. She was just starting her first job as a Security Engineer. Thats when she decided to pickup Calligraphy - a beautiful and recently forgotten art form.

Through her comunity online and in Chicago - she learned from incredible instructors, made lifelong friends, and gained confidence in her artistic capabilities.

In 2021, in the heart of a global catastrophe, Devina found Ceramics. Here she was even further inspired and creatively challenged. She began painting and carving ceramic pots as a way to show her calligraphic ideas. This opened up Devina's eyes. She began painting larger murals, paintings, and even touched pastels!

She began exhibiting her work right away in 2016, to date, Devina has participated in 15 exhibitions. Many juried. This is a huge milestone for any artist, but especially an engineer - its a feat of nature.

Devina's future goal is to hold a solo exhibition! That dream may come soon as she works on her 2025 Series - माँ (Ma)
