Pregnancy is excruciating.
Your body tries to prepare you, every month, for the hell you will endure. But nothing can truly ever prepare you. Your gut wrenches, your insides come to your outsides, and the salt on the wound is the sentence "Think positive thoughts, complaining will make the baby suffer".

This is made with a custom calligraphy script by the Artist, a mix of Devanagri and Diwani Jali arabic script. She calls it Diwani Devanagri.

An Ode to My Body Parts
There is no way for me to thank my body for everything it has done for me. This was an attempt.
Thank you to each and every single body part that helped make my baby. First in english, then in hindi. Special shout out to my brain for the brilliant idea and my uterus for her outstanding performance.
She's a thicc and sturdy gal.

Metamorphosis
A phrase that really helped me during my pregnany is: "Metamorphasis is a painful and beautiful process" - This helped ground me and illustrate to me that though a butterfly is beautiful from our eyes - it too had to emerge from a shell and that couldn't have been an easy feat.
